Thanks for taking a look. Most of the bikes I have are appropriately listed under the BIKES tab. Likewise, parts are listed under the PARTS tab.
Occasionally, I experience a backlog of bikes, bike projects, and parts. In this case, I will list surplus items under the FOR SALE tab. You can sign-up for updates if you like, then you will be among the first to know when something is going up for sale. Like most people I know who share the same enthusiasm for vintage mountain bikes, I am interested in the stuff that was happening when I was younger - a time when mountain bikes were in the early stages of development and there was an explosion of ideas, good and bad. I assumed (incorrectly) that everything I was seeing would always be available. Of course, this was and is not the case. Youth can have that effect. Going by memory, but primarily relying on the knowledge of those who were old enough back in the day to accurately remember who made what, why they did it, and how many they made, I have cobbled together a small collection of vintage mountain bikes that meant the most to me then and now. I know the photography is not perfect, and there is likely a bunch of errors or things I've missed, but hopefully, you will enjoy taking a look as much as I have enjoyed gathering and documenting these bikes and parts. I have made efforts to ensure the information I post is correct. I am, however, not an expert. I apologize in advance if you find something listed, named, or referred to incorrectly. I welcome a note advising me of such an error, as I am all about learning and sharing what I know. If you have any questions, fire away - I will do my best to answer them. Thank you for visiting, MB |
